Crimson Tide, the European example for IDC report
IDC, the very well respected analyst has produced a wide ranging report on the business opportunities around Windows Phone 7.
I quote "This IDC White Paper examines the opportunities for the channel to develop sales of Microsoft servers, business applications, tools, infrastructure deployment services, and managed services to customers building infrastructure around Windows Phone. The document includes a forecast of Microsoft Windows connected phones in North America and Western Europe and the attached revenue opportunity for channel
partners in these regions that sell Windows Phones and other software solutions. In
addition, this IDC White Paper includes two case studies of Microsoft Windows Phone
channel partners: one based in the United States and Crimson Tide based in the United
Kingdom . This document is for current and future Windows Phone ISVs and systems
integrator partners as well as for current and future complementary solution partners
that build on or support key Microsoft applications such as Exchange, SharePoint,
Business Productivity Online Standard Suite (BPOS), Office Communications Server
(OCS), etc."
