Kin Phones

So, Microsoft were "economical with the truth" about not producing a phone

The Kin phones, announced yesterday, are aimed at the Teen/Twenties market and have Social Networking at their core. They are based on a limited version of the Windows Phone 7 OS. As you can see they look pretty cool.

Apparently the phones come with Zune (no idea about storage) but cannot take apps. Curiously (for the teen/twenty market) they are Excchange enabled.

Microsoft sees a big opportunity in the feature phone market and, although these phones are limited to Verizon at the moment, we'll see what impact they have after their May release.
